Researcher Khabolg returns from an expedition to the second layer and brings from there the White Whistle of Rico's mother, Lisa, and a sealed document. The note says that Lisa is waiting for her daughter at the bottom of the Abyss, and also shows a picture of Reg.

In search of answers, the children begin their secret descent to the bottom of the Abyss. While researching the Cups of Giants, Rico is seriously injured with poisoning and almost dies. The mysterious creature Nanachi and a certain entity Mitty come to the aid of the friends. It turns out that they were ordinary orphans, but became victims of cruel experiments by the scientist Bondrewd.

Having patched up Riko, Nanachi asks Reg to stop the suffering of Mitty, who is immortal and disfigured due to the experiments. Having fulfilled the savior's request, the pair of protagonists intend to move on. Nanachi joins them on this journey, and during the course of the feature-length film, a confrontation between the main characters and Bondrewd occurs. As a result, Rico receives a new White Whistle from the transformed Prushka and continues on his way.

Using the acquired item, the heroes move to the sixth level, the Capital of the Unreturned. Afterwards, they find themselves in the Hollow Village of Ilblu, trying to track down the thief who stole their whistle, and find themselves at the center of local intrigue. Some residents would not mind leaving Ilbla, but do not have such an opportunity, but aliens from the upper levels can change this.
